"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
Calvin Coolidge
President of the United States
1923-1929
FIJI Rush
Q:What is rush?
A:Rush is a term that describes the formal process and period during which college fraternities and sororities actively recruit new members. This period is traditionally the first 2 weeks of the Fall and Spring semesters.
Q:How does rush work?
A:During rush, FIJI actively seeks out new candidates and prospective members. In order to be considered for membership, potential candidates should attend FIJI Rush events and meet the Brothers.
Most importantly, candidates for membership in Phi Gamma Delta must express strong interests in joining the fraternity and becoming an active member. FIJI does not take slackers who merely wish to use our name on their resume.
For more information on joining FIJI, please contact: Eugene McCrann at (917) 309-2586 or Pete Pevoto at (512) 771-2415.
